A Nigerian man, during an interview with CNN, shared his thoughts on how Nigerians can defeat President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), the man outlined a strategy aimed at ensuring transparency and accountability during the polls.
Speaking passionately, he emphasized that Nigerians must build a structure similar to that of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
He explained that citizens should organize themselves to have representatives at every polling unit across the country to monitor the election process and record results independently.
Nigeria has a total of 176,848 polling units, and he urged that each should have a designated monitor.
According to him, after collecting and compiling the results independently, Nigerians can compare their findings with the official results announced by INEC.
If discrepancies are found, he suggested that citizens should be prepared to take to the streets in protest.
His words:
"One of the ways we can defeat Tinubu in 2027 is to have a similar structure like INEC. Have a representative in each and every polling unit."
"We have 176,848 polling units in Nigeria. We can have a representative in each polling unit to collect the results and compile them together."
"Then, be ready for whatever INEC announces at the end of the day."
"If what INEC announces does not match the results we have collected, then we can hit the streets and give Nigerians the revolution that is desired."
