According to her, the five individuals had been exploring various countries-Senegal and Zambia among them-and had traveled to Cape Verde for vacation.

However, upon their arrival at the Sal Airport, they were reportedly detained without any justifiable reason.

"This is a case of emergency," she stated.

"Some Nigerians are presently being detained in Sal, Cape Verde. I have a few friends who are currently stranded at the airport. They've been held for about four days now, and no one has given any tangible explanation."

She continued, "A group of five people arrived together. They were on vacation and had already explored Senegal and Zambia. Cape Verde was their next stop, but now they're being detained."
