Popular activist, Just Adetoun explains why she didn't blur the face of the sweeping woman's daughter whom she criticized.
It would be recalled that some weeks ago, Just Adetoun had gone viral for berating a woman who brought her daughter to a sweeping job at 4 am.
While the video had drawn a lot of criticisms against Adetoun, it had equally elicited compassion from netizens, particularly Tunde Onakoya, the philanthropist and chess master, who offered the girl scholarship.
In a recent interview with Timi Agbaje, she noted that if she had blurred the face of the girl, as many had preferred, the video wouldn't have attracted the reaction it indeed and the little girl wouldn't have been helped.
She further noted that she has no intention of deleting the controversial video from her page.
Just Adetoun said in part ...
"If I had blurred that girl's face, the reactions that came to that post wouldn't have come, the people that donated to her wouldn't have donated and I'm never going to delete that video off my page, it's never coming down ever..."
Check out reactions that followed ...
ifynachii remarked: "I have a Question; what if that woman was with her maid or a child who wasn't hers the reactions would be different... y'all would've praised this lady.
