Barcelona manager, Hansi Flick, blocked defender Eric Garcia from leaving the club in the last transfer window.
This was disclosed by football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano in a tweet via his X account on Thursday.
"Eric García had an offer from another club, but I told him that I needed him," Flick was quoted by Romano as saying.
Garcia had a proposal from Serie A side Como to leave Barcelona .
The deal was almost done with Barcelona for €7 million fee with travel/medical booked.
However, Flick insisted for Garcia to stay at Barcelona.
This is coming after Barcelona defeated Atletico Madrid in the Copa del Rey semi-final encounter on Wednesday.
