Young boy narrates how his parents were kidnapped by Fulani herdsmen on their farmland

A young boy has shared the harrowing story of how his parents were kidnapped by Fulani herdsmen while working on their farmland.

The account, posted on X (formerly Twitter), has since gone viral. In the video, the boy, accompanied by some villagers, narrates the traumatic incident shortly after it occurred.

Seconds into the video, the boy is seen being questioned by a man about what transpired.

He explained the events that unfolded while they were on the farm:

"I was singing in the farm when they heard my voice. They came from behind my father. My mother shouted 'Jesus!' The kidnappers told us to be quiet. We agreed, and my mother began begging them. My father also begged, but they told us to keep quiet."

The boy went on to reveal that his father was shot by the kidnappers, adding several other distressing details about the incident in the video.
