Tinubu's minister allegedly withholds businesswoman's ₦200m payment after she rejected his advances

A Nigerian businesswoman has taken to social media, alleging that a minister in President Bola Tinubu's administration has refused to pay her ₦200 million for campaign gifts supplied in 2014 after she rejected his request for intimacy.

The claim, shared by a notable news platform on X (formerly Twitter), states that the minister deliberately withheld her payment due to her refusal to comply with his advances.

Accompanying the post were two videos showing the woman's face and her emotional plea for justice.

In the footage, she insists that the money is rightfully hers, stating that she has bills to pay and won't give up on reclaiming it.

Addressing the minister directly, she said:

"Engineer David Umahi, you know I am not lying. Your wife, children, and workers know I am not lying. Please."

"I know you have power, money, and a government that could lock me up, but tell Nigerians why you've withheld my business capital for three years."

"I am willing to die for this. Give me my money. I am a mother with children. I see your son flying private jets-the money he spends is enough to pay me. My children's bills need to be paid. I need my payment."

Her emotional outcry has sparked widespread reactions, with social media users flooding the comment section to share their thoughts on the matter.

See some reactions below:

@freeminderco: "I think I have issues with this sort of situation. Firstly, approach court. Take your evidence there and if you did not get justice then come online and present your case with evidence. You can't just rant online without any form of evidence to support your claim.'

@Lexyzdoo: "You're calling on the wrong person to help on this. He will declare arrest of emergency on your head now."

@KennyNuga: "David Umahi was contesting for the position of Governor under the PDP in 2014, so President BAT has no involvement in this matter."

@samwellsg: "This woman has been talking about this for a long time, I saw her about a year ago rant about the same issue. Still they refused to pay her."

@SaintNwa: "Evidence please , even if na the test message."
