Trump reveals jail term against those sabotaging Elon Musk's Tesla cars

United States President, Donald Trump said on Friday said people who are caught sabotaging Tesla cars may stand a chance to go to jail for up to 20 years.

Trump made the announcement in a post on his Truth Social account.

He wrote,

"People that get caught sabotaging Tesla's will stand a very good chance of going to jail for up to twenty years, and that includes the funders. WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU!!!"

This is coming after US Attorney General Pam Bondi announced charges against three people responsible for putting ablaze Tesla properties.

Bondi said this in a statement that the three persons will face the full force of the law for using Molotov cocktails to set fire to Tesla cars.

He called the recent violent attacks on Tesla property "nothing short of domestic terrorism".

Recall that Tesla CEO Elon Musk had earlier this week blamed "terrorism" after multiple cars caught fire at one of his facilities in Las Vegas, United States.
