A Nigerian lady, who saved up millions of naira to purchase a brand-new iPhone 16 Plus, was left devastated after the phone was stolen just an hour later.

The incident was shared on X, formerly Twitter, where it was revealed that the woman had bought the phone earlier in the day, only for it to be stolen shortly afterward.

"Someone saved up and bought an iPhone 16 Plus this morning, and it was stolen just an hour ago," the post read.

According to the report, the phone was plugged in for its first full charge when an unknown individual took it the moment it reached 100%.

"She was charging it for the first time. It was stolen as soon as it was fully charged," the post added.

As the news spread online, social media users flooded the comment section with reactions, expressing sympathy and frustration over the unfortunate incident.

In the said oust, it was claimed that the said individual had bought the phone earlier in the day and not long after, the said phone was stolen.

"Someone saved up and bought an iPhone 16 Plus this morning and it was stolen like an hour ago."

It was added that the phone was being charged at a spot and just immediately after it got to full charge, someone unknown stole it.

"She was charging it for full charge first use. It was stolen after it was fully charged."
