Liverpool manager, Arne Slot doesn't believes Paris Saint-Germain are among the favourites to win the Champions League despite knocking his team out of the competition.
The Reds exited the Champions League on Tuesday at the round of 16 stage.
This follows a penalty shootout defeat at Anfield.
Liverpool were outplayed by PSG last week but snatched a first leg 1-0 victory thanks, to Harvey Elliot's late winner.
However, Ousmane Dembele levelled the tie 12 minutes into Tuesday's second leg with PSG holding their nerve in the decisive shootout with four perfect penalties.
PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma was the hero for Luis Enrique's side as he kept out spot kicks from Darwin Nunez and Curtis Jones.
When asked if PSG are favourites to win the Champions League, Slot told Amazon Prime Video after the game:
"No, I wouldn't say favourites.
"You know how much I like this team and how impressive they were last week and today.
"It is not easy to play over here in these circumstances when we are so aggressive but they were able to get the win over the line.
"This is a very good team, but there are many good teams still in the competition.
"Normally you face these teams in the semi-final and the final but unfortunately we had to face Paris Saint-Germain, one of the richest clubs in the world, already in this round."
PSG came close to winning the Champions League back in 2020 but were defeated by Bayern Munich in the final.
