During an interview with Arise TV, Ngwu mentioned that public opinion has already condemned the Senate President, despite the fact that the allegations have not been proven to be true.

He emphasised that Godswill Akpabio, the President of the Senate, is experiencing a great deal of distress as a result of the accusations. He is the presiding officer of the Senate.

Ngwu went on to express his condolences to Senator Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan, recognising the difficulty she faces in substantiating her claims. Having acknowledged the challenges that come with being in such a predicament, he emphasised the significance of the situation for all of the individuals involved.

According to what he said, "I feel sorry for everyone. My deepest condolences go out to Senator Godswill Akpabio, who serves as the President of the Senate and is the person who is in charge of the executive branch. A presiding officer, who is the first among equals, has stated that he is traumatised. He is actually traumatised for a sexual harassment allegation that has not been proven, that has not been substantiated, but almost everyone has put him on the stick to crucify him. Despite the fact that we are all equal, he has stated that he is traumatized.

"I feel sorry for him; I don't know how he is feeling, and I know that I would never want to be in that situation. I am also sympathetic to Senator Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan, who has brought this to everyone's attention and who is responsible for bearing the burden and the responsibility of proving the allegations that she has made. I am sympathetic to her," he said.
