A Nigerian man has shared his unexpected win at a job fair raffle, where he walked away with a brand-new PS5 after his friend insisted he enter the draw alongside approximately 15,000 participants.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the man recounted his experience, revealing that he attended the job fair with his friend when they stumbled upon a raffle organized by a company.
Despite his reluctance, his friend urged him to participate, even though he had never won anything before.
Convinced he had no chance, he dismissed any hope of winning. However, when the winners were announced, to his astonishment, his name was the first to be called.
He wrote:
"I'm at this job fair with about 15,000 people, and one company was holding a raffle draw. My friend forced me to enter, and I did reluctantly because I never win these things."
"After the fair ended, we gathered for the draw. As they called the first winner, I was telling some Nigerian friends that I never get lucky with things like this, especially with so many participants."
"Guess who was called as the PS5 winner? I couldn't believe it! My friend who made me apply is in frame 2."
"On a day I least expected it, I won!"
The post quickly gained traction, drawing reactions from netizens who flooded the comment section to share their thoughts on his unexpected stroke of luck.
