Tanju Çolak believes that without Victor Osimhen's significant contributions, the club would be struggling in fifth place in the Super Lig table.
The Nigerian striker has been instrumental to his club's success this season, most especially in the title race.
Osimhen has had a significant impact since his loan move to Galatasaray last summer, scoring 22 goals and providing 5 assists in 28 appearances across all competitions.
Galatasaray are currently at the top of the league with 65 points, leading their arch-rivals Fenerbahçe by four points due to his performances.
Çolak speaks on Osimhen's impact
Çolak, in an interview with Ekol TV, as quoted by habersarikirmizi, commended Osimhen for his work ethic and determination.
"Osimhen, he plays to the death! There is a player like Osimhen who runs, fights, wants, can get his head into every ball, and throws himself into the middle.
"None of them wants to win as much as Osimhen. Osimhen is a character who does not want to lose with his ambition, determination, and desire. If it were not for Osimhen, Galatasaray could even be 5th."
As the season reaches its end, Osimhen is focused on helping Galatasaray secure the Süper Lig title before his likely summer transfer.
