Zelensky To Russia: No More Bombs, No More Missiles, Let's Talk Peace

According to the report from Ukraine's Pravda, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has proposed the first steps toward a lasting peace, suggesting an immediate truce in the sky and at sea, alongside the release of prisoners, if Russia agrees to do the same.

Furthermore, he emphasized the need to work quickly to end the war and move forward with further negotiations.

Zelensky also outlined that the ceasefire would include a ban on missiles, long-range drones, and bombings targeting energy and civilian infrastructure.

He also stressed that once these conditions are met, Ukraine aims to progress rapidly through the next stages and collaborate with the United States to finalize a strong peace agreement.

Finally, the proposal follows a recent suggestion by French President Emmanuel Macron and UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer for a one-month ceasefire covering air, sea, and critical energy infrastructure. Ukraine's leadership now awaits Russia's response to the proposed truce.
