Manchester United are evaluating three high-profile coaches as potential replacements for Ruben Amorim if they decide to part ways with the Portuguese manager. Amorim, appointed by INEOS in November to succeed Erik ten Hag, has struggled to bring consistency to the squad. Since arriving at Old Trafford, he has managed just 10 wins in 24 matches, resulting in a disappointing 41.67% win rate-significantly lower than both Ten Hag (54.69%) and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer (54.17%).
Concerns over his tenure have intensified, with Paul Scholes expressing fears that things are "coming apart again," while Paul Merson criticized Amorim's rigid tactics, particularly his 3-4-2-1 formation. Reports from Spanish outlet Fichajes suggest that United's leadership is now considering a managerial change. Three candidates have emerged: Julen Lopetegui, Joachim Löw, and Massimiliano Allegri.
Löw is praised for his ability to handle star-studded squads, Lopetegui for rebuilding teams, and Allegri for his Serie A success. United's board is reportedly prepared to make a move if results do not improve in the coming months.
