France international Ousmane Dembele spoke to PSG's readiness ahead of their Champions League clash against Liverpool.
Paris Saint-Germain winger Ousmane Dembele laid the gauntlet to Liverpool ahead of their Champions League round-of-16 clash, declaring their readiness for the contest.
PSG will host the first of the two-legged tie at the Parc des Princes tomorrow and the on-form Dembele is confident they can beat the high-flying Liverpool.
What Dembele said
Speaking after the 4-1 triumph over Lille, Dembele praised their performance while looking forward to the Liverpool match.
While he praised the seeds for their showing this season, he is also confident in the football they have been playing this season, hailing Luis Enrique for getting a tune out of the side.
"We played a very good game today. We are preparing well for what is to come (Liverpool)," Dembele said. "Since the beginning of the season, (Luis Enrique) has been telling us to play good football. Everyone is participating, whether it's the midfielders, defenders or attackers.
"Everyone wants to be decisive. We are in a very good dynamic; we will try to keep it as long as possible. We are having a blast! Everyone attacks, everyone defends. We are a very united team, that gives results like that. It's just fun for 90-95 minutes.
"We know it's going to be a tough match. It's the Champions League. Liverpool finished first; they're also confident. It's going to be a great show."
Meanwhile, the France international has been firing on all cylinders this season. He has scored an incredible 26 goals in all competitions this season in 33 matches, best goal tally in his career. Six of those have come in the Champions League, and PSG will need Dembele
