Senator Olusola Adeyeye has shared how President Bola Tinubu helped him during a period when some people wanted to kill him
Speaking in a video shared by Channels TV, Adeyeye disclosed that for two years he could not live in his own house due to security concerns. He also revealed that he survived five assassination attempts and had to constantly change locations to stay safe. He said Bola Tinubu helped him develop a strategy to protect himself.
Adeyeye explained that Tinubu advised him to buy multiple used cars in different colors and models. He said that whenever he visited someone, he would park a car at their house beforehand. He said that when arriving, he would make sure people saw him in one specific car, such as a green Honda Accord. However, when leaving, he would secretly switch to another car, like a Mercedes Benz or Toyota, with the windows rolled up, so no one would know how or when he had left.
Adeyeye emphasized that this strategy helped him evade those who were after him and allowed him to survive during those dangerous years.
In Adeyeye's words: "I didn't live in my house for 2 years, I escaped 5 assassination attempts and I lived in 5 houses. Thanks to Bola Tinubu, I went to him one day and said look I need a bulletproof car and he told me what to do. He told me to go and get many used cars of different colors and different shapes".
