According to a report, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan of Kogi Central has vowed to expose Senate President Godswill Akpabio's leadership style, following a series of disputes and accusations within the Senate.

Tensions escalated after a disagreement over seat reassignment in the Senate chamber, which Akpoti-Uduaghan perceived as an attempt to undermine her influence. She argued that such actions were intended to restrict her participation in legislative discussions.
In response, the Northern Youths Advocacy for Excellence (NOYAD) submitted a petition to the Senate Committee on Ethics, Privileges, and Public Petitions, accusing her of financial misconduct, abuse of office, and creating a hostile work environment within the Senate Committee on Local Content.
Denying the allegations, Akpoti-Uduaghan described them as deliberate attempts to damage her credibility. She has called for a transparent investigation and insisted that the proceedings be made public to ensure fairness.
"Inasmuch as I have refrained from publicly speaking on the matter and a lot of occurrences at the Senate under Senate President Akpabio, it's about time I break my silence," she declared.
She further alleged ongoing efforts to sideline her in the Senate, pointing to her exclusion from key international engagements and official assignments. Despite these challenges, she remains committed to advocating for transparency and accountability in governance.
