A Nigerian couple who met on Twitter (now X) in a lighthearted exchange about mathematics has welcomed their first child.

Their love story began in 2023 when a questionnaire about favourite school subjects was posted on the platform. A user, @BJAdeparusi, responded, expressing his love for mathematics, saying:

"It will still be Mathematics. If I no sabi a question initially, I go still find my way but I won't be stranded. Never!"

His now-wife, @oluwafisayom, humorously replied:

"Come and marry me please 🙏 so you can help our kids with their math homework 🥴."
