Jamaican dancehall artist, Adidja Palmer, aka Vybz Kartel, said he has forgiven his wife, Tanesha Johnson for her alleged infidelity during his 13-year prison sentence.
In episode 443 of the Drink Champs podcast, Kartel shared that he discovered Tanesha's infidelity from his other baby mama while he was in prison, which left him in tears.
Despite the revelation, the singer maintained his respect for her, recognising her humanity and stating that he "forgave" her as soon as he found out.
"But I still respect her because I understand [she is a] human being... I forgave her immediately because I understand, but I just had to move on," he said.
The music star stated that his wife remained supportive despite his imprisonment, emphasising her years of loyalty before finally weakening.
"She was there right through, but come on, I am in prison for f**king 13 years; what do you expect her to do? Like, save the p**sy?" Kartel added.
Tanesha Johnson is a major part of the dancehall star's life, well-known in public as his longtime girlfriend and mother of his children.
While in prison, she is a constant public supporter, maintaining the domestic relationship in existence despite his imprisonment.
Vybz Kartel was released from prison in August 2024 after being incarcerated on charges of two alleged murders, one of which resulted in a conviction and imprisonment.
