Last weekends Premier League matches saw Aston Villa staged a comeback to beat Chelsea 2-1 at home, thanks to two second-half goals from Marco Asensio, both set up by Marcus Rashford.
Chelsea started strong and took the lead early when Enzo Fernandez was left unmarked and tapped in Pedro Neto's cross after just nine minutes. But the game changed completely once Rashford came on.
The Manchester United loanee replaced Jacob Ramsey at half-time and wasted no time making an impact. He stretched out a leg to square the ball to Asensio, who calmly slotted home his first goal in Villa colors.
Everton had a late penalty decision overturned by VAR as Manchester United fought back to earn a 2-2 draw at Goodison Park. Bruno Fernandes was the key man for United, scoring a free-kick and playing a role in their late equaliser.
Everton took the lead in the first half when Dwight McNeil's cross was headed in by Beto. United struggled to create clear chances, but Fernandes stepped up with a stunning free-kick just before halftime to make it 1-1.In the second half, both teams pushed for a winner.
Fernandes had another dangerous free-kick, which led to Manuel Ugarte scoring an own goal while trying to clear the ball, bringing United level at 2-2. Manchester United will host Ipswich Town at Old Trafford as they aim to return to winning ways. Chelsea, on the other hand, will face Southampton. Tottenham will battle Manchester City, while Arsenal will travel to face Nottingham Forest.
