Even if you sanctify it, devil still owns it' -Olukoya reveals items that are dedicated to the devil

Dr. Daniel Olukoya, General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), has issued a stern warning to believers about the use of certain items, emphasizing that some objects are inherently dedicated to the devil and cannot be sanctified for spiritual use. Speaking during a Sunday service at the ministry, Olukoya highlighted the dangers of spiritual negligence and the importance of discernment in spiritual warfare. 

"Stop deceiving yourself with the mindset that everything can be sanctified," Olukoya declared, addressing the congregation. "It is not everything you can sanctify. Some things belong to the devil and remain his property, no matter how much you pray over them." He explained that objects tied to demonic practices or rituals serve as spiritual gateways and can expose individuals to attacks.

Illustrating his point, he gave real-life examples of how lifestyle choices and material possessions could become vulnerabilities. "I do not drink alcohol," he said, "so you cannot poison me with alcohol because I do not consume it. Likewise, I do not wear chains around my neck because I am not a prisoner. The enemy cannot manipulate or harm me through such items because I do not use them."

Olukoya further warned against the casual adoption of trends or items that carry spiritual connotations. "Some people bring objects into their homes or lives without understanding their origin or purpose. These things can serve as access points for demonic influence," he explained.

He also stressed the critical role of repentance in closing spiritual doors. "Repentance is the foundation of true deliverance. Without it, your prayers may lack power," Olukoya stated. "When you cry, 'Oh God, deliver me!' the devil might say, 'This one is still holding onto my property.'"
