Pastor Paul Enenche, the founder and senior pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, recently shared a compelling story to illustrate the importance of divine direction.
Speaking at Lagos Healing and Deliverance Crusade, he likened God's role in a believer's life to that of a control tower guiding an aircraft safely to its destination.
During his sermon, Pastor Enenche narrated the story of a young girl who got lost in town and could not find her way home. When the police found her crying, they asked where she lived, but she could not provide an address. Instead, she only knew her father as "Daddy" and her mother as "Mommy," leaving the officers with no useful information to locate her home.
In their search for clues, the police asked if she could describe anything near her house. The child then recalled a significant landmark: "Beside my house, near my house, there is a big white church with a big white cross."
With childlike faith, she added, "Take me to that cross, I will find my way home."
Pastor Enenche used this story to drive home a powerful spiritual lesson, stating that those who find their way to the Cross of Christ will never lose their direction in life. He urged believers to remain connected to God's presence, assuring them that divine guidance will always lead them to purpose and destiny.
"If you can locate your way to the Cross, if you can locate your way to Jesus, if you can locate your way to the presence of God at any time, you will not miss your bearing in life," he concluded.
