The enemy has largely lost the ability to produce the necessary weapons - Russian General Rudskoi

According to a senior Russian general, Russian forces have regained control of over 800 square kilometers of territory in the Kursk region, accounting for approximately 64% of the land seized by Ukraine during last year's incursion.

According to a report by Reuters, Colonel General Sergei Rudskoi revealed that Russia has been making strides in all directions since February 2024, forcing Ukraine into a defensive position amidst a significant Russian counteroffensive that successfully reclaimed substantial territory.

Russian General Sergei Rudskoi declared that Russia has seized control of significant portions of Ukraine, specifically 75% of Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions, and over 99% of the Luhansk region.

According to Rudskoi, these four regions are now officially part of Russia and will permanently remain under Russian control, never to be returned to Ukraine.

This statement comes amid ongoing tensions between Russia and Ukraine, with Russia's annexation of these regions widely unrecognized by the international community.

Russian General Sergei Rudskoi claims that the tide of the war has shifted in Russia's favor, marking last year as a crucial turning point in achieving their objectives.

According to Rudskoi, Ukraine's leadership will no longer be able to alter the course of the conflict in any significant way.

"The enemy has largely lost the ability to produce the necessary weapons, equipment and ammunition. Mobilisation is usually forced."

According to Rudskoi, the trajectory of the conflict is no longer in Ukraine's hands, but rather hinges on the West's willingness to establish a revised European security framework that acknowledges and accommodates Russia's interests.
