Additionally, Hajizadeh explained the reasons behind Iran's missile strikes on Israel that occurred in April and October of the previous year. He suggested that Israel miscalculated Iran's willingness to avoid direct confrontation in order to prevent war, emphasizing the ongoing tensions between the two countries and Iran's determination to respond firmly to perceived threats.
