In a recent Video posted on YouTube channel of sky News, President Donald Trump has reiterated his controversial proposal for the United States to assume control of the Gaza Strip, despite significant opposition.
During a meeting with King Abdullah of Jordan, Trump once again suggested relocating the 2 million Palestinians living in Gaza to neighboring countries.
Both Jordan and Egypt have firmly opposed Trump's plan, expressing concerns about the implications of displacing Palestinians. King Abdullah reaffirmed Jordan's strong opposition to any form of relocation, while Egypt's foreign ministry highlighted the necessity of protecting Palestinian rights.
Speaking to reporters, Trump remained committed to his plan, claiming a U.S. takeover of Gaza would generate employment opportunities and foster economic development. "We're going to take it, hold it, and cherish it," he said, calling Gaza a potential "diamond."
However, regional leaders and analysts caution that such actions could intensify the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and lead to greater instability in the region.
