According to a report from his official Facebook account on Wednesday, February 12, Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries' General Overseer, Dr. D.K. Olukoya, recently disclosed a significant encounter with a philosophy professor through a sermon broadcast on his official Facebook channel. The narrative highlighted the consequences of dismissing spiritual guidance regarding marriage decisions.
In his account, Dr. Olukoya recalled the professor's visit to his office, where the academic sought validation for his desire to marry another wife. "Dr. Olukoya, is there anything wrong if I take one extra wife? The one at home now is old-fashioned, I need a modern wife," the professor inquired.
When advised against this decision, the professor referenced biblical history, stating, "How many wives did King Solomon have while alive?" Upon learning of Solomon's 700 wives, he argued, "Is Solomon not the wisest person ever to live? I am not asking for two or three, just only one!"
Despite Dr. Olukoya's firm opposition to the plan, the professor proceeded with his decision. However, an unprecedented event occurred when his intended bride died a week before their wedding. The situation took an unusual turn when the deceased's family insisted on conducting the ceremony, resulting in a cemetery wedding.
Following this unconventional ceremony, the professor began experiencing disturbing phenomena. He reported constant visions of his deceased bride, including apparitions during his lectures. His increasingly erratic behavior led to his hospitalization in a psychiatric facility, where prescribed medication reportedly amplified his hallucinations from single to multiple apparitions.
The professor ultimately returned to Dr. Olukoya, acknowledging his error in disregarding the initial counsel. This revelation, shared through the ministry's social media platform, serves as a testament to the importance of heeding spiritual guidance in life-altering decisions.
