Chelsea's flop, Joao Felix has landed in AC Milan, expressing his excitement and determination to succeed at the Italian club, revealing that he "pushed hard" to secure the transfer.
Felix, who joined Milan on a six-month dry loan deal from Chelsea.
What Felix said
Felix shared his thoughts on the move in a statement published on Milan's Instagram profile.
The Portuguese forward also revealed his admiration for Milan legend Kaka, who he idolized growing up.
"I pushed hard to come here; I want to give my all for this club," Felix said.
He continued, "I already knew Conceicao, his passion is contagious and winning is essential."
"Kaka has always been my idol. I saw myself in him and tried to emulate him," Felix said.
Meanwhile, Felix also praised the warm welcome he has received from Milan fans.
"The fans' warmth has been incredible, I want to make them happy."
