Bishop David Oyedepo, who is the founder of Living Faith Church, has disclosed the ways in which believers can tell the difference between divine guidance and deception.
He recently made a post on social media in which he emphasised that inner peace is an important sign of God's voice. He believes that if you are feeling anxious or upset, it is a sign that the decision you are about to make could be a trap set by the enemy to ruin your future.
He wrote, "There are many voices clamouring for our attention, but there is a way to tell which ones are real and which ones are fake." "When you feel anxious or upset, it is a sign that the enemy is trying to ruin your future." God's voice brings peace to the people who receive it.
Bishop Oyedepo emphasised that if someone believes they are being led by God but does not have peace, it could be a sign of deception. He cautioned, "If there is no peace after a leading, be on the lookout; it is likely that the stranger is lurking in a corner, waiting to steal what is rightfully yours."
