Former Beşiktaş midfielder Sinan Engin has said that Galatasaray has an unfair edge because of Victor Osimhen's signing.
Following unsuccessful deadline-day attempts to get a big move, Osimhen made a loan move to Galatasaray.
Since joining the Lions, he has scored 17 goals and provided 5 assists in 22 appearances for the Turkish side.
Galatasaray are top of the Turkish League table, with Osimhen making an impact on the team's good performance.
Engin speaks on Osimhen
Engin has revealed that Osimhen's presence at Galatasaray has made them better than other teams in the league.
Speaking on Habersarikirmizi.com's Asist Analiz YouTube channel, Sinan Engin said, "Osimhen, unfair competition. It is a great chance for such a transfer to happen. He also makes the team play."
Osimhen's outstanding efforts have guaranteed Galatasaray a spot in the Europa League knockout stage and given them a six-point lead over Fenerbahçe in the Süper Lig standings.
The team went on a 20-game winning streak with the Super Eagles star before losing to Ajax in a Europa League final match.
Despite the loss, the forward scored the only consolation goal for his team in the final moment of the game.
