Talented Nigerian striker Victor Boniface is not in talks with any Premier League clubs, despite earlier rumours linking him to Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea.
This clarification comes after a potential transfer to Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr fell through earlier in the week, following signing of Villa's Jhon Duran.
Reports emphasize that Boniface, who has recently recovered from a significant thigh injury sustained during international duty in November 2024, was indeed considered by Al-Nassr.
However, the club decided against proceeding with the transfer due to concerns over his fitness, preferring to sign the younger Colombian striker Duran.
Boniface, who had been open to the move to Al-Nassr, remains content at Bayer Leverkusen.
The 24-year-old has no immediate plans to leave the Bundesliga champions, aiming to see out the current season with the club.
Despite intermediaries reportedly offering his services to various Premier League teams, these suggestions are unfounded, as confirmed by Boniface's camp.
The Nigerian forward has made a significant impact since joining Leverkusen in the summer of 2023, accumulating 40 goal involvements with 29 goals and 11 assists.
