'When God Sends You Out, Don't Open a Church Where You Were Raised'-Johnson Suleman to Young Pastors

Apostle Johnson Suleman, the founder and senior pastor of Omega Fire Ministries International, delivered a powerful message to young pastors during the Sunday service.

Speaking at their Sunday service, he emphasized the importance of submission, wisdom, and the need to honor spiritual principles in ministry.

Apostle Suleman reminded the congregation that man is merely a vessel and not the source of blessings. Drawing from scripture, he stated, "The God who helped you when you had nothing can still help you now." He encouraged believers to trust in God's ability to sustain them through all phases of life, regardless of who comes or leaves.

Addressing young ministers aspiring to start their ministries, he offered a critical piece of advice: "Don't go forth until you are sent forth." He highlighted the significance of being released by one's spiritual authority before embarking on ministry. "Regardless of the issues you have with your father, mentor, or pastor, never go forth without being sent forth," he urged.

Apostle Suleman also cautioned against starting a church in the same location where one was raised. He explained that ministry is not a business venture, and starting a church in the same place undermines the honor and process of spiritual growth. "When God sends you out, use wisdom. You can't be raised in a place and then start a church in the same place," he said.

The sermon served as a reminder for young ministers to seek divine direction, embrace humility, and respect spiritual authority while pursuing their calling. "Life may have phases, but you'll be fine," Apostle Suleman concluded, encouraging the congregation to remain steadfast in God.
