In a recent video on YouTube, Apostle Johnson Suleman, a renowned Nigerian preacher and founder of Omega Fire Ministries, has revealed the reasons behind his decision to stop preaching in other churches and accepting invitations to minister. Speaking candidly about the change in his approach, Apostle Suleman explained that his decision was based on both divine instruction and practical considerations.
According to the Apostle, the Lord gave a clear directive to him and his ministry to focus on spreading the gospel globally by opening churches around the world. This calling led him to prioritize the growth of his own ministry, rather than accepting invitations to preach in churches where he could inadvertently create conflicts. "To avoid conflicts, I decided not to preach for others, allowing me to conduct my crusades in peace," Suleman explained.
He shared that one of the challenges he faced was the potential for tension when he would preach at a church and later establish a branch of his own ministry in the same area. This could result in members from the host church being drawn to his ministry, creating friction. As a solution, he made the decision to stop accepting invitations altogether to avoid these potential conflicts and focus entirely on his own divine mandate.
According to him, "People often wonder why I stopped preaching in churches and accepting invitations. There are many reasons for this decision."
"First, the Lord instructed us to spread out and open churches around the world. To avoid conflicts, I decided not to preach for others, allowing me to conduct my crusades in peace. For instance, if I preach for a church and then establish a church in that area, someone who has been blessed by my ministry may choose to move, leading to potential conflicts. To prevent such issues, I stopped accepting invitations."
