Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has offered a diplomatic response when questioned about the possibility of Antony leaving the club this January.
The Brazilian winger has struggled to make an impact since his arrival and continues to face criticism for his underwhelming performances.
When asked about Antony's potential exit, Amorim addressed the media with a measured reply:
"I want to keep my players."
The manager didn't close the door entirely, adding:
"I don't know what is going to happen this window; we will see, but he did a good job against Southampton."
Antony's form has been a point of contention for fans, with the winger managing just one goal in the Carabao Cup this season. This adds to his solitary goal from the previous campaign, raising questions about his long-term future at the club.
Amorim's comments suggest that while he values Antony, his January plans remain uncertain. Only time will tell if the Brazilian gets the chance to prove himself at Old Trafford or if the club will explore other options in the transfer market.
