LaLiga: Diego Simeone fumes over Barça's registration of Dani Olmo, Pau Victor

Atletico Madrid manager, Diego Simeone, has expressed his anger over two the Spanish National Sports Council's decision to allow Barcelona to register two more players, Dani Olmo and Pau Victor.

Simeone said he is not in support of such decision, insisting that his club has abide by the rules of La Liga.

Barcelona has been unable to register Olmo and Victor since bringing in them in the summer.

However, the soap opera is now over as the Catalan side has been given the green light to provisionally register the pair.

Reports in LaLiga suggests that clubs were divided on their stance with Olmo's case, with clubs like Atletico Madrid and Sevilla, who have representatives in the league's delegation committee, strongly opposed to Barcelona.

With the successful provisional re-registration of Dani Olmo and Pau Victor back into the Barcelona squad, the news continues to stir massive reactions in Spain.

Speaking ahead of their clash with Osasuna, made his stance on the matter known. The Argentine said via Tribal Football,

"It's better that I keep quiet, that's all. Our club, like all members of La Liga until this resolution, has respected the rules of economic control and will continue to respect them," he said.

"Indeed, in order to be competitive at the level we have reached in recent years, we have decided to proceed with various capital increases, despite the enormous effort that this implies."

In the aftermath of the Spanish National Sports Council's decision, Atletico Madrid voiced its discontent in a statement on its website.

"...This government intervention creates a very dangerous precedent, as it opens the door to circumventing the rules and repeating the serious mistakes of the past..." part of the statement said.
