Controversial British broadcaster Piers Morgan has slammed Arsenal following their FA Cup third round defeat to Manchester United on Sunday.
Morgan branded Arsenal as 'pathetic', adding that the Gunners have no chance of winning a trophy this season with Kai Havertz as their main striker.
Arsenal was defeated 5-3 through penalty shoot-out after Man United converted all their spot kicks.
The encounter had ended 1-1 after 120 minutes at the Emirates Stadium.
Bruno Fernandes and Gabriel scored the goals for both teams during normal time.
Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard missed a penalty during the 90 minutes, while Diogo Dalot was sent off for a second yellow.
Reacting, Morgan, a die-hard Arsenal fan, wrote on X: "Pathetic, Arsenal. How can you lose at home to a team that has 10 men for that long?
"So long as Havertz is our main striker, we have zero chance of winning any big trophies.
"He was abysmal today. If Arteta doesn't buy big this window, including a top striker, our season is over."
