Ronaldo continues to show why he is one of the richest footballers on the planet following his latest lavish acquisition.
Cristiano Ronaldo has once again demonstrated his penchant for luxury by acquiring a new private jet.
According to reports, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner has purchased a Bombardier Global Express 6500 private jet worth an eye-watering ₦80 billion (€50m), as per Marca.
This latest addition to his enviable lifestyle cements his status as one of the world's richest footballers, having earned well over $1.7 billion just from playing football alone.
Ronaldo, 39, who looks set to extend his stay at Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr, previously owned a Gulfstream G200 jet, purchased in 2015 for ₦32 billion (€20m).
However, the Portuguese legend recently sold the white Gulfstream, upgrading to the sleek black Bombardier model.
What to know about Ronaldo's new Bombardier Jet
The Bombardier Global Express 6500 is no ordinary jet.
With space for 17 passengers, it offers unparalleled comfort, boasting state-of-the-art individual seating, plush sofas, private suites, and even a separate shower.
The jet also features a cabin equipped with workspaces and dining areas, making it perfect for Ronaldo's blend of business and leisure.
Its exterior is just as remarkable, with Ronaldo's iconic goal celebration silhouette and personalised logo emblazoned on the access doors, making it unmistakably his.
Recently, Ronaldo and his family were spotted enjoying this flying palace during a Christmas holiday in Lapland before returning to Saudi Arabia.
While the market price for a second-hand Bombardier 6500 starts at ₦64 billion (€40m), Ronaldo's model, with its customised features, reportedly pushed the price to ₦80 billion (€50m).
But for a man raking in over ₦320 billion (€200m) annually at Al-Nassr, this jaw-dropping splurge is nothing more than pocket change in his opulent lifestyle.
Ronaldo's latest purchase proves that when it comes to living the high life, he remains in a league of his own.
