"Best moment in my career" - Ashley Young on facing his son Tyler

Thursday's matchday is set to be a historic one in the FA Cup. Not because of the size of the fixtures, which are not particularly noteworthy, but because Ashley Young, one of the Premier League's great all-time greats, could face his son.

The draw paired Everton, where the 39-year-old full-back plays his club football, with Peterborough, where Tyler, a descendant of the former Aston Villa, Inter Milan, Manchester United and Watford player, has been based for the past few months.

While age is not weighing too heavily this season for Ashley, who has already made 18 appearances in a Toffee shirt, Tyler is finding it much harder to make a name for himself at League One side Peterborough.

"Ash' has put a bit of pressure on me with this. I'll have to find a way for Tyler to take part in the game," Darren Ferguson, manager of the lowly English third-tier side, told 'BBC Radio Cabridgeshire'.

"It's a big story, so we'll see what happens when the time comes. Ash is still playing and has had a fantastic career, but Tyler is still just starting out. It's the kind of story that leaves the FA Cup and I'm sure this is a very good one," continued the Peterborough boss.

Meanwhile, Ashley Young gave his thoughts on 'TalkSPORT': "Obviously, it's a dream come true. Probably the best moment in my career. In basketball there's Lebron with his son Bronny. I've done my homework and it's something I don't think has happened since 1980."

Of course, in the history of football there are several cases of players who have shared a team with their offspring, but rarely have they played as rivals. It is a milestone that could happen on Thursday if Dyche lines up Ashley Young and Ferguson decides to give Tyler some minutes.
