Manchester City midfielder, Bernardo Silva, has ruled out the Premier League champions from the title race this season.
City have endured a shocking dip in form since October.
Pep Guardiola's men have managed only two wins in their last 14 fixtures in all competitions.
It is a run that has seen nine defeats and three draws.
Going into the New Year, City sit in sixth place with 31 points after 19 games.
They also trail leaders Liverpool by a staggering 14 points, with the Reds having a game in hand.
"I would say [the Premier League title is] not impossible because in football there are no impossibles, but right now, Man City is completely out of the title race.
"There's no question about that. It's too late for us.
"People always say that you don't win a league until January, but you can lose it, and this season the reality is we've lost it," Silva told Sky Sports.
