'One of the Biggest Deceptions You'll Hear is That the Gospel is Not Transactional'-Johnson Suleman

Apostle Johnson Suleman, the founder and senior pastor of Omega Fire Ministries, addressed attendees at their Crossover service with a revelation about the nature of the gospel.

According to him, "One of the biggest deceptions you will see or hear is that the gospel is not transactional."

"How many of you have heard the phrase, 'This is not transactional; Christ has done it; He has done it'?" Apostle Suleman began, adding, "I disagree because even God is transactional."

He pointed to the Bible's core message of salvation, emphasizing the importance of God's sacrificial act. "For God so loved the world that He gave His Son..." he stated, explaining that the reason God has us today is because He made that exchange, presenting the relationship with God as transactional but not materialistic.

Apostle Suleman further explored the transactional nature of God's dealings with humanity, citing verses from the Bible such as Matthew 7:7, which says, "Ask, and you shall receive," and Jeremiah 29:13, "You shall seek for me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."

He explained that these verses underscore the principle of transactions in God's interactions with His people but clarified that it is not a material or mundane transaction.

He concluded with a reminder that the gospel's transaction is spiritual, not earthly: "If you don't confess Christ into your life, He is not coming. You cannot receive Him if you don't confess Him."

He added that working with God involves exchange and commitment, but it transcends the material world.
