During their Crossover Service at Salvation Ministries International, Pastor David Ibiyeomie, the founder and senior pastor of the church, delivered a message emphasizing the importance of Christians taking an offensive stance in their faith.
Pastor Ibiyeomie declared, "Christianity that is not on the offensive and is only on the defensive is very risky." He urged believers to adopt a proactive approach in their spiritual lives, particularly when faced with challenges.
He went further to say, "Enough is enough," stressing that it is time for Christians to use the instrument of fire to enforce God's judgment and destroy whatever has been tormenting their lives.
He explained that without an offensive mindset, adversaries can become insurmountable adversities. Drawing from the biblical example of King Saul, Pastor Ibiyeomie reminded the congregation of God's command to destroy all Amalekites, emphasizing that no enemy-whether internal or external-should be spared. "King Saul, don't spare any Amalekite," he quoted, reinforcing the need to rid one's life of all spiritual enemies.
Pastor Ibiyeomie further emphasized that God is always ahead of His people, guiding them to victory. He encouraged the congregation to reject any enemy, both within and around them. "No enemy within and around will be spared," he declared, as the congregation responded with a resounding "Amen!"
He then urged them in urgency and determination to take an active role in overcoming the challenges they face and also use spiritual warfare to claim victory in every area of their lives.
