Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola, has expressed his regret for letting Jesús Navas leave.
The Spaniard sent a warm message to Navas after the former Spain international announced his retirement.
The former Barcelona boss and Navas did not spend too much time together.
Navas was only able to play 1,814 minutes across 36 games under the former Bayern Munich coach.
"You don't know how much I regret letting you go. I would have loved for you to stay longer here, but sometimes you make mistakes," Guardiola said, as per Mirror.
"Congratulations to all Sevillistas for having had such an extraordinary player and a person who defines Sevillismo. For many years to come, Sevillistas, don't let him slip away.
"Keep him close and with all of you. Farewell."
