The January transfer window opens in four days, and options are presenting themselves to Manchester United.
Ruben Amorim's early life at Old Trafford has turned into a nightmare, with five defeats in the last seven games.
Due to this, Ineos are now looking at options to bolster Manchester United's ranks in January and beyond.
Diego Leon looks set to be signing number one of 2025, with the deal thought to be all but completed. He could be joined by 18-year-old Norwegian talent Sverre Nypan who is a long-term United target.
Nuno Mendes has been the subject of a bid to bolster Amorim's wing-back options. But now a potential bargain of the decade could be presenting itself to United in January to replace Marcus Rashford.
Dani Olmo could be available for free
Rashford's potential exit from United will dominate the transfer window, but the loss could be eased if a player like Dani Olmo were to arrive.
The Spaniard has been raved about by Julian Nagelsmann in the past as being "an outstanding footballer".
Olmo is potentially available for free in January after Barcelona were hit with a high-court ruling which means they cannot register him.
Now, Times Sport are reporting that Olmo is wanted by Manchester United, along with Manchester City and Arsenal who are all on red alert for the £51m Barcelona and Spain star.
This follows reports earlier this week from the Daily Mail which suggested Olmo's agent was in Manchester discussing a deal.
Olmo was only allowed to be registered for the first half of the season due to injuries suffered by Andreas Christensen and Ronald Araujo - but upon their return, there will be no space for the forward.
It could be that Barcelona look to loan Olmo until the end of the season, or sell permanently. Either way, it appears Ineos will be in the running as he would solve a big problem.
Manchester United's ideal Marcus Rashford replacement
Signing Olmo would delight United fans, considering he fits perfectly into the system of Amorim as one of the two number 10s.
Olmo would join as an option to rotate along with Bruno Fernandes, Amad Diallo and Alejandro Garnacho as the three main options - with Mason Mount and Marcus Rashford not considered viable due to injuries in Mount's case and Rashford wanting to leave United.
For Barcelona this season, Olmo has six goals and an assist in 15 games across all competitions - with just 813 minutes, Olmo has scored or assisted every 116 minutes.
This is an upgrade on Rashford who scores or assists every 150 minutes. It also beats Amad who contributes to a goal every 126 minutes this season.
Olmo would be the ideal cheap January solution to United's lack of offensive options problem and if he chooses United then it's a deal we should definitely complete.
