Manchester United legend, Jaap Stam, has slammed Marcus Rashford for saying he was ready to leave Old Trafford.
The former Red Devils defender said the forward is taking an easy way out by trying to leave the club amidst criticism.
Rashford's poor form under different managers at Old Trafford has led to immense criticism from fans and pundits.
The England international has also been heavily linked with a move away since last summer.
Rashford recently suggested that he was ready for a new challenge away from the club.
Jaap Stam said, according to Goal,
"I think saying you want to leave is the easy way out because it's been a tough period and he's faced a lot of criticism for his performances, but we haven't seen enough fight on the pitch.
"I think if he was showing that then there would be a different mood towards him and more credit being paid to him.
"Maybe it would be good for both him and the club for him to move on, but I would've liked to have seen him give everything for the club."
