Enzo Maresca confirms key player to miss Chelsea vs Fulham

According to report, Chelsea manager, Enzo Maresca, has confirmed that Romeo Lavia will not be available for their Boxing Day match against Fulham.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference on Tuesday, ahead of Chelsea's home game at Stamford Bridge, Maresca provided an update on Lavia's condition.

The midfielder is still in the process of recovering from an injury, and although he has shown improvement, he is not yet fit enough to return to action.

Lavia had already missed Chelsea's 0-0 draw with Everton last weekend due to the injury. "Romeo is still recovering.

He's much, much better," Maresca stated. "He's already working on the pitch but unfortunately he's not ready [for Fulham]. [It's] the same situation [for the others]."

In addition to Lavia's absence, Chelsea's injury concerns continue to mount, with several key players still sidelined.

The club's medical team is working diligently to get players back to full fitness as soon as possible, but for now, Chelsea will have to rely on other members of their squad for the upcoming festive fixtures.

Chelsea fans are hoping for a strong performance in Lavia's absence, with the club still aiming to maintain a competitive edge in the Premier League during the busy holiday period.

The Boxing Day clash is expected to be a challenging match, with Fulham also fighting to secure valuable points.
