Liverpool duo Ibrahima Konate and Conor Bradley are yet to return to first-team training as they continue their respective recoveries from injury.
Arne Slot has admitted that determining a timeline for the return of Liverpool players Ibrahima Konate and Conor Bradley is challenging as they continue their recovery from injuries sustained during a clash with Real Madrid in late November.
Konate picked up a knee issue in the final moments while Bradley was taken off after earlier suffering a hamstring injury in the Reds' 2-0 Champions League win.
Although both are making strides in their rehabilitation, Slot was cautious about predicting their comeback dates after previously misjudging Diogo Jota's fitness.
Jota was sidelined for two months due to an upper body injury picked up in October, and Slot has acknowledged his earlier misestimate of the forward's return.
Consequently, he chose not to set a specific date for Konate or Bradley's returns but noted they are working towards it.
At present, these two remain Liverpool's only injury concerns, with Slot saying: "These are the two that are still in red, so they don't train with us at the moment. But they are on their way back, but they don't train with the team yet.
"That is quite difficult [to say timescale]. Jota I thought would have been back earlier but sometimes the end stage of rehab takes longer, sometimes they join (training) and then they are not completely ready to start.
"So let's wait and see but we have a good rehab team here who have done some good work with Alisson and a few others.
"The main thing is if they come back, they are ready to come back, let's not focus on two or three days, it's more important for them to stay fit for the long term. Let's hope with Conor and Ibou the same thing happens."
