EPL: It's disheartening - Rashford laments Amorim's decision

Manchester United forward, Marcus Rashford has said he was disheartened after getting dropped from the squad that defeated Manchester City in the Premier League derby last weekend.

Manchester United manager, Ruben Amorim decided to leave Rashford out of the squad that won 2-1 against Man City at the Etihad Stadium.

Two second half goals from Bruno Fernandes and Amad Diallo gave Amorim's side all three points against the Cityzens.

Speaking to Henry Winter, Rashford also claimed that he has learned how to deal with setbacks in his career.

"It's disheartening to be left out of a Derby... but it's happened, we won the game so let's move on," Rashford said.

"It's disappointing but I'm also someone as I have got older I can deal with setbacks. What to do? Cry about it? Or do my best the next time I'm available."

Apart from Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho was also dropped from the squad by Amorim.
