Barcelona and Arsenal have moved into the top three in the Champions League table, following their respective wins on Wednesday night.

The Catalans beat Borussia Dortmund 3-2 in Germany and now sit in second place with 15 points, three less than table toppers Liverpool.

Mikel Arteta's men are third after they hammered Monaco 3-0 at the Emirates

The Gunners now have 13 points, same as Bayer Leverkusen, Inter Milan, Aston Villa, Brest and Lille.

In the bottom half of the table, Real Madrid's 3-1 win at Atalanta takes them up to 20th position.

The holders are two places above Manchester City, who lost 2-0 at Juventus.

After each club has played eight matches, the top eight move into the last 16 and those ranked between ninth and 24th go to the play-offs trying to join them.
