Liverpool beat Gerona to maintain their 100% record in the Champions League.
Kylian Mbappe scored first against Italian side Atalanta in the 10th minute of their clash on Day 6. However, Charles De Ketelaere equalised for Atalanta from the Penalty Spot on the stroke of halftime after Tchouameni clipped down Kolasinic to make it 1-1 at halftime. Madrid scored their second goal after 11 minutes of play in the second half to take the lead as Atalanta slipped into pressure. Jude Bellingham worsened Atalanta's conditions with a 59th minute strike to make it 1-3 at Bergamo.
Nigerian Striker, Ademola Lookman pulled a goal back in the 65th minute to send a big signal to Real Madrid as scoreline changed to 2-3. Real Madrid continue to attack, looking for more goals but time never permitted them as they played 2-3 in Bergamo, Italy. Bayer Munich also won by 1-5 against Shakhtar to earn all 3 points
Liverpool's victory on Day 6 means they only need a draw to stay on automatic qualifications route to the round of 16 after gaining 18 points.
