Key players Luke Shaw and Victor Lindelof are unavailable due to injury, while Jonny Evans is a doubt after missing the midweek loss to Arsenal.

Shaw, who has been dealing with a muscle injury, suffered a setback in his recovery, ruling him out for an extended period. Meanwhile, Lindelof is sidelined with a groin problem and will not feature in the upcoming match.

Evans, who missed Wednesday's 2-0 defeat to Arsenal, is being assessed after picking up an unspecified injury.

Despite these challenges, manager Ruben Amorim remains optimistic. Lisandro Martinez and Kobbie Mainoo are both available after serving suspensions and are expected to be in the squad.

Martinez is likely to return to the defense, potentially replacing either Harry Maguire or Noussair Mazraoui. Rising star Leny Yoro is also being considered for a starting role.

Amad Diallo could make his first Premier League start of the season, potentially taking over at right wing-back, allowing Diogo Dalot to shift to the left side.

In midfield, Mainoo will compete for a starting spot alongside Manuel Ugarte, Casemiro, and Christian Eriksen. Captain Bruno Fernandes may be deployed in a more advanced role, supporting forwards Marcus Rashford and Joshua Zirkzee.

Both Rashford and Zirkzee are expected to start after their standout performances in last weekend's 4-0 win over Everton.
