Arsenal will take on Manchester United in a Premier League showdown at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday.
The Gunners are heavy favourites heading into this game, and for good reason. Whilst the Red Devils' form has improved since Ruben Amorim's appointment, they still have a long way to go before they will be at the level as Arsenal, who are considered title contenders.
Paul Merson expects Arsenal to "destroy" Manchester United, and Mikel Arteta will certainly expect his side to pick up all three points in North London.
This is a not a game that the Gunners can afford to slip up in. Failure to win against Manchester United would hand Liverpool the chance to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table, beyond the nine point gap that they are already enjoying. This scenario would represent a fatal blow to Arsenal's own title hopes.
Arsenal poses unique threat to Manchester United
Former Manchester City defender Nedum Onuoha is another who believes that Arsenal will dominate this game.
Speaking on ESPN, the pundit has predicted that Amorim will encounter a standard of opposition that he has not yet come across in the Premier League and may not have to face again for the rest of the campaign.
He said: "Arsenal, with Odegaard back and Saka and so on, playing to the form that they have right now, it's going to be a chance for them to almost have a statement win as such.
"I think they [Manchester United] are just going to be swarmed on the day. I think United are going to be tested like they probably will not be tested between now and the end of the season. I think they will suffer."
Mikel Arteta's key weapons against Ruben Amorim
There are a number of things that make Arteta's side so difficult to play against, perhaps even uniquely so, as suggested by Onuoha.
For a start, the Gunners carry the most potent set-piece threat in the top flight of English football. Arsenal set-piece coach Nicolas Jover has been a revelation, and is responsible for masterminding the team's approach to corners and free-kicks.
Between his genius for set-piece design, the consistently quality deliveries from Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice, and Gabriel Magalhaes' brutal aerial prowess, the visitors will have their work cut out holding the hosts at bay.
On top of that, Martin Odegaard has been better than ever since his injury and is more than capable of pulling the Manchester United defence apart. The Norwegian playmaker's chemistry with Saka has proven itself to be a reliably effective route to goal.
